Wow, hard to believe that it is already the third full weekend in August!  Which means it is already time for Festival of the Little Hills… my very favorite event on South Main!  Some of the most talented crafters all come in and pack the streets with creative handmade things!  I love seeing so many creative people sharing their talents!  I hope to have a booth next year!  But this year was just too busy with our move and all the other stuff in between!

I remember not working everynight at the new shop, but that was a long LONG time ago!  But as we draw closer and closer to opening the new place, I am getting more and more excited about our new place.  Make it Meaningful promises to be an adventure each and everyday… we are constantly working on new ideas and new twists to our old ideas.  Never dull I do promise you that!  And the magic question seems to be “Just when will you open” and the answer is soon, very soon.  Our goal is to open tomorrow, but you know how goals go, always set one and hope you land somewhere in the vicinity.  :-)  So IF we don’t get open tomorrow, hopefully it will be Sunday or Monday, keep checking back and we will let you know…

After MANY hours of work on thurs night we are now officially out of the store on Mexico Road.

Thanks to all who came out to see us and support us we really appreciate it! Please come visit us on Main Street. We will still be carrying a selection of scrapbook supplies and I’m even working on a deal to have my photography turned into paper that we would have the exclusive rights to carry.

The clock is ticking on the Mexico Road location and we have a little more than 6 hours left as I compose this post. As of 8 p.m. tonight the Mexico Road store will be officially closed!! This sale will not be extended as we have to be packed up, repainted and out by the end of the month! well, here we are… the final 24 hours. I want to take time to thank everyone that has come out to see us during our final sale. we appreciate all of your patience with our long lines!
